Thursday morning, June 29, Terry and Becky O'Conner fixed a breakfast in their motor home at the I-80 Rest Area at Pine Bluffs.
Breakfast complete, the couple made their way to the information center of the rest area and after some conversation with the staff manning the center made their way to the Archaeological Dig Site, a short ten minute walk away.
The O'Conners were coming from Florida where their Marine son had received his wings. The couple were on their way to Seattle, Wash. where another son serves in the Coast Guard. They were looking forward to visiting with their one-year-old gran...
