Everyone is aware that November 11th is Veterans Day (or in Canada, Remembrance Day and Europe, Armistice Day) or that the 4th Thursday of November is Thanksgiving; but what about some of the other days to celebrate in November. Like November 1st through the 2nd is “Day of the Dead” or November 10th is the United States Marine Corp birthday.
Some of the more bizarre or little know days are All Saints day, Nov. 1, All Soul's day Nov. 2, Nov. 3rd is Sandwich day, Cook Bold and Pungent day on Nov. 8th.
Family time would be great to celebrate Young Readers day on November 8th as well as the 14th; how about Stop the Violence Day on Nov. 22nd, that would be a lovely day to celebrate in these troubling times.
The second full week in November is full of wonderful items to celebrate, World Kindness day, Accountant's day, Great American Smoke-out, American Recycles day and World Peace day. Other days in November to celebrate are Culture day, King Tut day, Guy Fawkes day, Saxophone day, Abet and Aid Punster's day and Bonza Bottler day are a few.
What about November 30th “Call in Well Day” a day to stay at home because you are well, you may want to use caution as well as good judgement when you call into work on this! If you have the right frame of mind you can find a reason to celebrate each and everyday and some my just bring a smile to someone else that you reach out to.
