95 Years of the Lion

The 95th Anniversary banquet of the Pine Bluffs Lions Club was held on Saturday, November 4, at the Pine Bluffs Historical High School. Members from the Lions Clubs in Cheyenne, Kimball, Nebraska, Greeley, Colorado were present to wish well and congratulate the Pine Bluffs Lions Club.

Mayor Alan Curtis spoke about the club and what good things they have done for the town of Pine Bluffs. He praised the club for leadership and projects that have helped the town and citizens.

Val Grant, the District Governor for the Wyoming Lions Club presented awards for recognition to members for their long dedicated service to the Lions Club. Bill Cushings for 20 years; Dr. Dale Lansden and Ken Wilkins for 30 years; Chuck Lyons for 35 years; Mike Klopfenstein for 45 years, and John Garrison for 60 years.

Speaker for the evening was Kenneth Moore, Immediate Past District Governor from 6NE Colorado.

President Kate Russell presided over the banquet.
