FBLA to host Snowball Dance and Dinner

November 19 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Pine Bluffs chapter will be hosting a "Snowball Dance and Dinner" for the local Senior Citizens at the High School Commons. The dance and dinner is free, they are hoping you will put on your dancing shoes and cut a rug or two!

Young people involved in business have a group of their own, that is all about community service. The seventh through twelfth grade students not only raise money but can be seen partnering with other local groups, like the FFA (Future Farmers of America) to help.

"One of the groups biggest project was the clean up after the horrendous hail storms that hit Pine Bluffs in July of 2016" said Clayton Gross a six year member of the local FBLA. It was a large project that they teamed up with the FFA to help the residents of Pine Bluffs.

Although the FBLA has the option to join business during a daily work day the Pine Bluffs chapter chooses not to, they focus more on preparing for the state leadership conferences. These conferences take place in March. One of the activities that is especially appealing to the students is the competition. There is competing in any thing from information technology, accounting, public speaking and additions business aspects.
