Hornets take big win

The Pine Bluffs Hornets played hard at their tournament this past weekend. During their first against the Wyoming Indians the Hornets won by 16 points. In the 1st period the hornets had a total of 19 points. Then in the 2nd period the Hornets had managed to score another 22 points bringing the score to 41 to 24. 3rd period is when they took a huge lead over the Wyoming Indians. With 8 seconds left in the period they left the score at 53 vs the Indians 35. Finally the game was finished with 71 points to 55, the Hornets bringing home another win.

The game leader was #5 Haize Fornstrom with a total of 34 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 recovers. Another star player was #33 Tucker Norman with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 turnovers, 4 steals, and 4 recovers. Another top player is #30 Michael Shain with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 turnovers.

During the next game against Saratoga, The Hornets definitely knew what they were doing. Pine Bluffs scored 23 points within the 1st period. In the 2nd period Pine Bluffs left Saratoga in the dust with a score of 52 to 10. Saratoga managed to bring their score up 5 points in the 4th period, but that want enough. The final score rested at a whopping 79 to 20.

The game leader was #33 Norman with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 1 turn over, 1 steal and 5 recovers. In close second was #10 Andrew Fornstrom with 19 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 turnover, 1 steal, and 1 recover. Finally was #30 Shain with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Another very successful game for the Hornets was their game against campion. With a final score of 86 to 25, the hornets claimed their 3rd victory of the tournament. 1st period is when the Hornets stuck it to it and gained 26 points vs campions 8 points. In the next two periods dthe hornets gained another 43 points. 4th period allowed the Hornets to finish the uphill battle and gain the win with a score of 86 to 25.

In the final two games the hornets managed to gain two more great wins. One against Moorcroft, with a score of 77 to 20. Then a later game against Snake River with a final score of 76 to 36.
