Windows on the Past improvements continue

Pine Bluffs Town Council members Monday night awarded a bid to a Cheyenne Wyoming contractor to install a parking lot a driveway and parking lot at the Windows on the Past Interpretive center.

STC construction will pour 480 square yards of asphalt at the facility for about $109,000.

Pine Bluffs Town Treasurer Kim Patterson said the town elected to use asphalt instead of concrete because it's much cheaper and the intepretive center receives little traffic.

"Concrete would have put us over-budget for the project," Patterson said.
