BURNS — It was a good day to be a Lady Bronc at the Burns Invitational track meet last week.
Piper Perez ran the 400-meter in 1:05.84, earning first place.
Her teammate Layne Burnett dominated mid-distance events with wins in both the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs (2:40.15 and 6:07.87).
But they weren’t the only Lady Broncs to have strong showings last Thursday. The result sheet from the meet is riddled with Lady Broncs.
