Students from Burns and Pine Bluffs High Schools headed to Cheyenne last week to compete in the 91st Wyoming State FFA Convention and several students had success.
Burns’ first success came on the second day of the convention, held April 18 - 21 came when Layne Burnett received reserve champion, or second-place, in creed speaking.
According to the national FFA, creed speaking is an event for seventh, eighth and ninth-grade students.
