Community garage sale set for Saturday

Each year, residents from Pine Bluffs and surrounding areas congregate to put on a community-wide garage sale.

This year’s is set to kick off Saturday.

Pine Bluffs recreation director Sonja Fornstrom said the event gives people from out of town a reason to come to Pine Bluffs for a morning of garage sales.

When people in larger communities like Cheyenne, for example, go on a weekend garage sale trip, they often look for places in the same neighborhood.

Pine Bluffs is like a big neighborhood in that regard, Fornstrom said.

Twenty-eight vendors are signed up.
