Smoky sunset

The sun peaks through the smoke from a fire burning in southwestern Albany County Tuesday. As of Tuesday evening, the Badger Creek fire had consumed about 2,300 acres. The fire's smoke plume has been seen in the skies from as far away as central Nebraska.
