Pine Bluffs-Burns runners compete in Saratoga, will race in Wheatland Friday

The Pine Bluffs-Burns cross country team headed to Saratoga on Friday and continued what has already been a successful season.

Led by Piper Perez, the girls varsity team earned third-place overall.

Perez finished sixth with a time of 21:33.

Shelby Thurin followed in 14th at 22:48.

Hellie Christofferson was 16th at 22:56 and Emma Gonzales was 19th at 23:24.

Grace Steenbergen rounded out Pine Bluffs-Burns in 20th at 23:30.

“The girls have a tough four weeks ahead of them, but we have some workout adjustments to ensure their successes continue,” said head coach Ashley Rousseau.
