Beware of Cougars

Cougar tracks have been appearing closer to town in the recent weeks. Buzz Canady of Pine Bluffs, found tracks in and around his yard, which is up against the bluffs south of the interstate.

Canady, who has small dogs, was overly concerned as they are being found close to his house and now monitors his pets closely when they are outside. "This is a momma cougar and two young babies, and she is going to protect them babies, as well as provide food for them," he said.
