Melvin Eugene Waterman

Melvin Eugene Waterman, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Feb 14th with his loving wife, Karen, by his side.

Mel was born December 24, 1945 to Clemens and Olive Waterman of Stronghurst, IL as the ninth of their ten children. He proudly served his country, overseas, in the Vietnam War as part of the Navy before he settled down in Iowa, where he met Karen McDowall. Mel and Karen wed July 2, 1977 in Red Oak, IA before relocating to Colorado, and later to Wyoming.

Mel will be remembered by his humor, always making everyone laugh, even when he was not doing well. 'Oh, pretty good', he would say...
