Immanuel Lutheran Church celebrates 100 years in same Church building

This Sunday the 21st of July marks the 100th anniversary of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burns. The town of Burns, Luther at the time, was founded in 1906 by the Reverend Bursick. Several Lutherans came with the Reverend and developed a congregation, but had no place to meet. The small congregation would meet wherever they could. The Lutheran congregation in Burns had many pastors that came from several places to minister to the residents of this new little town.
