DFS Receives Federal Approval for Prevention Plan

The Department of Family Services (DFS) has received federal approval of its Child Welfare Prevention Plan. Approval of the plan supports work underway to transform the current child welfare system into one that provides families opportunities for success before crisis hits, so children and families can stay together and live safely at home.
