Burns Town Council approves new sign for Betty's Wall

A discussion about the water main that broke was one of the topics at the Burns council on September 25th at 5:30 p.m. All the council members minus Rick Lakin were present at the meeting. There were six guests and town clerk Toni Shiery.

Dennis Bastian was excited and had the honor to offer his proposal for the Betty’s Wall sign. Bastian knew Betty Nussbaum who took care of the wall with a caring heart. The mayor moved to have Bastian create the sign within the price of $7000. It was approved by the council.
