Rates major discussion at Burns Town Council

The beginning of the year means looking at rates during the council meeting. Burns Town Council met on January 8th at 6:30 p.m.

The Utility Board met before the regular council meeting. They were looking at the rate numbers. They changed some of those numbers at the meeting. The board decided with a lot of discussion there were some changes needed. There will be an increase in trash removal to $25. If a resident has an extra trash container it will be now $15, increasing $5 dollars. The sewer will be increased to $26.
