Hornets Swarm into the Okie Blanchard Meet

The Hornets varsity and junior varsity track and field teams hit the track on a perfect day for the meet. Sky was partly cloudy, and temperature was just perfect for running. The Hornets were not going to let the day be a bust and worked hard to finish high. The varsity team stumbled a bit and managed to climb the ladder to the ninth spot. The junior varsity team climbed a bit higher to the fifth spot thanks to the efforts of Travis Lerwick who took a first-place finish and Justin Lerwick who took a second-place finish. The varsity SMR 1600m relay team placed third in their race.
