John William "Bill" Parsons

John William (Bill) Parsons passed from this life to meet his Lord and Savior on April 28, 2024 at the age of 99 in Katy, TX. He was born to William and Bess Parsons on August 10, 1924, in Wellsville, Ohio. During WW II, Bill enlisted in the Army-Air Force at 18 where he served as a waist gunner on a B-17 Bomber. After his plane was shot down over Nazi Poland, he spent 8 months as a prisoner of war and earned a Purple Heart. While attending Sterling College he met Doris Spear.
