Hornets Defend Their Home

The Hornets boy's track and field team hosted the Pine Bluffs Field Event Extravaganza in Pine Bluffs last Thursday. The event consisted of field events only with no track events. The Hornets were dominant in the meet taking five first-place finishes out of the six events. The also took two second place and three third place finishes. Although not as cold as the previous event held here the temperature was still cold and forced the contestants to bundle up.

Carsten Freeburg qualified for state by taking first place in the high jump with a 5ft 10in jump. He also took first in the triple jump. M...
