In case of emergency, Dial 911. This phrase is ingrained in us from the earliest age, yet do any of us really know what it takes to support this lifeline? What does it take to rush to the aid of someone in need? In the next few paragraphs, I hope to pull the curtain back and shed a little light onto what it takes to provide EMS in a small rural setting.
