Heavy agenda for Burns Town Council

It was a busy night at the Burns council meeting on May 13th. There were lease issues, law enforcement, and concerns about a park and Main Street.

The council and the Utility board was sad that Harvey Humphrey put his resignation in for the Utility board. Humphrey has served on some position in Burns for many years. To have him resign was sad. The council said, “We appreciate all the work he has done.” The Utility board will be interviewing members to be on the board.

The council had their third reading of Ordinance 18A.48 fiscal year budget.
