Pastor Atkins holds last Church Service

Another chapter is closed for the Pine Bluffs Methodist concerning the line of pastors. On Sunday June 30th was Pastor J. R. Atkins last sermon in Pine Bluffs.

Pastor J.R. Atkins and his wife Stacy came to Pine Bluffs two years ago in July. They came from Parachute, Colorado and before that, they were in Georgia. Atkins is originally from Huffman, Texas, and he attended Texas A & M University. His grandfather was a minister, and that got him interested in becoming a minister.
