Threads and Needles - a bonding friendship

In Albin is a beautiful quilt that is hanging in the lunch room at the Albin Community Center. It was made by the Delta Club in Albin.

The Delta Club has been in Albin as long as people can remember. The club was for the women to meet once a month to learn new or to help them in the house. At the beginning it was learning about canning, making bread, or sewing. Throughout the years the members have become older but do not need as much of the homemakers skills.
