Burns Local makes a jaunt to Guatemala

Missionaries go on adventures that help others through rough times in other countries. Irene Madler from Burns decided to take her first missionary trip with the Holy Trinity Catholic Church out of Cheyenne.

This trip was to Guatemala for six days, and they went to different towns to visit. The group went to a boarding school for girls. The girls stay at the boarding school year round except for two weeks when they go home to their parents. The nuns are in charge of running the school.
