Pitching Horseshoes Still Fun

Another fun event at the Albin Day celebration is the Horseshoe pitching contest. According to Kelly Krakow, the director of the event, "There aren't as many teams as there have been in the past. But this year there are more young players than there has been."

Since the tournament was held later in the day the temperature was not as bad. Also, the horseshoe pit is nestled between some tall trees that provided some well needed shade.

Eight teams started the game. The tournament took a bit longer than normal as most of the participants were also playing in the cornhole tournament just 50 feet aw...
