The heat did not sway the Pine Bluffs Roping Club last Friday as they had the first of two 12.5 handicap events. Sixteen ropers showed up for the event and produced 39 teams. The heat was brutal but the cowboys and cowgirls all seemed to have fun and enjoy themselves.
Anna Murdoch first saw the event on the television and thought it was cool. "I then started to watch U-Tube and was hooked" she said. Murdoch was riding a horse called Flo-Jo.
