August was the start of the Burns Lions Club. After the club received their charter they were out to help others during the month of August.
On "Night Out" the Burns Lions Club was able to serve hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, and a drink. The evening started great until the weather had a different opinion. In August, anytime of the year the people in Laramie County love to get rain. Rain means great crops, no fires, and water to drink.
