Doggers Squeak by Hornets

The Hornets football team put their undefeated season up against the undefeated Lingle/Fl Laramie Doggers last Friday night. In a game that many have said might very well be a preview to the state championship game the Doggers barely managed to beat the Hornets 30-27. The game was tied late into the fourth quarter, until a last-minute field goal by the Doggers' place kicker. The Doggers drove the ball to the Hornets 20 and kicked a field goal to take the lead 30-27. It was a heartbreaking loss for the Hornets.
