Cross Country Team Recognized

The Burns/Pine Bluffs Cross Country Track Team was honored last Friday with a dinner and awards ceremony. Awards for the best time in both the junior high and high school team were awarded. Additionally, members that qualified for the state meet were recognized as were the seniors on the team.

Seniors Merina Theobald, Cooper Allen and Xavier Wilson were recognized and awarded certificates for their participation in the sport. All three seniors qualified for and ran in the State Meet. None of them were fast enough to medal but to qualify was a fantastic feat. Congratulations.
