Hornets Honored with Prep Athlete of the Week

Defensive players Ethan Bomberger and Justin Lerwick were named as the WyoSports Prep Athlete of the Week. It is said that defense wins football games. That statement was never more accurate than in the Hornets last week's 22-28 Championship win against the Lingle/Ft Laramie Doggers'. For the second week in a row two Hornets players were so honored.

The two combined for 17 tackles, one fumble and two sacks in their championship win over the Doggers. Bomberger had 10 tackles with six solo tackles and forced one fumble. Lerwick had seven tackles and sacked the quarterback twice. According to Bom...
