Three Hornets Named to Laramie County Football First Team

Three Hornets football team members were named to the 2024 All-Laramie County Football First Team. Carsten Freeburg, Ethan Bomberger and Shawn Shmidl.

Freeburg finished the season as the Class 1A nine man's leading passer, averaging 139.3 yards per game and 1,532 total yards through the air. Considering this is his first season as the starting quarterback for the Champions his future looks promising. Freeburg had 19 touchdowns to five interceptions over the season. He was also the only quarterback to have more than 300 yards passing in a single game this season.
