As the JV and Varsity basketball teams started their season last weekend it is easy to overlook the Junior High teams that have been playing for the past couple of months. This year the Burns Junior High team ended on a high note.
The Burns Junior High team is the Southeast Wyoming Athletic Conference (SEWAC) Champions. This is the equivalent of Regionals for the High School teams. Burns entered the championship tournament in the number two position. They played Lingle/Ft Laramie in the semi-finals and beat them 16-56.
