The Burns Insurance Winter Classic Basketball Tournament is the start of the season for many schools in the state. The Lady Hornets came into the season with almost all of their starters and are looking forward to another trip to Regionals and State. They started off the season with a contest against one of the toughest teams in the state. The Wheatland Bulldogs are seated number one in the 3A Southeast Conference and have started the season with a 4-0 record.
