UW Rocks the Senior Center

Some people like to go for a walk and some people like to hike. Getting out and enjoying the fresh air can boost your mood. Seeing a pretty rock in the road, on a hill, on a bluff or at the lake gets most people's attention.

Every rock is made of a mineral. Geology is the study of them. Being located around hills, bluffs, and mountains people like to study the rocks. The University of Wyoming outreach program received an Aging Grant for student to road show different areas of Wyoming.

They have covered fifteen counties in the state of Wyoming.
