Burns Senior Center's One Year Anniversary

What a year for Burns Senior Center. The town of Burns needed a place for the people to gather, do activities, and eat food.

Katie Ryan presented an idea to the town Burns council in January of 2024 for a senior center. They gave her ten days to set it up. It got accomplished with her leading the way with volunteers helping from the community.

The doors opened on February 5, 2024. At the beginning , it was just snacks, and coffee with people visiting from the community. Then a breakfast club was formed on Saturdays that brought in more people.
