Hornets Tame the Tigers

The Pine Bluffs Hornets basketball team played solid ball during their game against the Mitchell Tigers last Tuesday. The Tigers are a fast-moving team and have the fast break offense down to a science. This took the Hornets by surprise in the early stages of the game, but the Hornets quickly adapted and overcame. If there is any part of the Hornets team that really needs work, it would be their shooting. The Hornets collectively shot 36% from the floor and 50% from the free throw line. Their defense bent a bit in the early stages but pulled it together and dominated the rest of the game.
